Choose one of the 5 quotes listed below as inspiration for your entry.

Interpret the quote in one of the following ways.

Image Video

Take a digital picture of your creation, be it a drawing, illustration, photograph, painting, sculpture, mixed media, cartoon imagery or any other still visual art imagery.

Make a movie, animation or video (30 seconds max).

Accepted Formats: Jpeg, GIF or a PNG accepted. File size no larger than 500KB

Accepted Formats: MPEG, AVI, MOV max 10MB

Think big, think different but most importantly, make it original. We will be checking your entry to make sure it's all your own work, including the music.

Show it to the world. The only way to submit your entry is here, online by 1 October 2010.

Dates for the diary

Competition closes: Friday 1 OCTOBER 2010 at 11.59pm AEDST.
Voting ends: Friday 1 OCTOBER 2010 at 5.00pm AEDST
Winners announced: Wednesday 20 OCTOBER 2010 (notified by phone).

Who can enter

Entry is open to Australian residents who are enrolled in an Australian High School and are 18 years or younger (at the time of entry). You will need a parent or guardian's approval before entering.

For the teachers

Each of the set quotes appear in the 2010 Actors At Work programme. Bring these Shakespeare phrases to life in the classroom with discussions and activities that highlight the background, themes and characters of the plays.
