Who can enter?
Entry is open to Australian residents who are enrolled in an Australian High School and who are 18 years or younger (at the time of entry).
Students under 18 will need their parent's or guardian's approval to enter.
How much does it cost?
Entry is free.
Getting Started
Getting started is easy. Just pick your favourite Shakespeare quote from the list provided and interpret it in a unique, creative way. Making sure its all your own work.
Can I use a different Shakespeare quote?
No, you must select a quote from the list provided.
How do I upload my entry?
Have your entry ready before 2 October. Visit www.optus.com.au/makeascene and complete the online registration form and upload your entry.
Why is my submission not being accepted?
A confirmation of your submission will be sent automatically to the email address you provided.
If you do not receive this notification (check the email address and phone number you provided), you may not have fulfilled all the instructions required to submit successfully.
Resubmit your entry and ensure you follow all the instructions provided.
When will I see my entry online?
Your entry will be approved prior to going live onto the Website. Allow up to 48 hours for your entry to be checked and uploaded onto the Gallery.
Getting votes for my entry
The entry with the most Facebook 'Likes' will be awarded the people's choice award and will win a fantastic prize of $2,000 and an Apple iPhone, so let all your friends know to go to the online gallery and 'Like' your entry.
How many times can I enter?
You can submit more than one entry. However, each submission must be submitted separately.
Who owns my entry once its uploaded onto the site?
Make A Scene exists to promote and support the creative talents of secondary school students.
Optus and Bell Shakespeare have the non-exclusive right to the material submitted by you on the website for use in the promotion of Optus Bell Shakespeare events and future promotions.
